Some Recent Changes
===================
Hey!
Some of you who had a look at the comments section last night will already be aware, but theres going be some changes to the Patreon for the Guide and so in all likelihood to the update rate of the coming month (if not longer). Theres a minor update as well, regarding PayPal. All of this is detailed below.
In essence, the current rate of three chapters a week and the monthly extra chapter has turned out to be a full-time writing job. I cant maintain that and take contracts on the side, not while keeping up quality on both sides. Since Ive no intention of stopping to write the Guide, Ive had to push upwards the Patreon goal for three updates a week. Its not significantly higher than what the very generous people on the platform are currently sending me, but its enough to make a difference to my own finances.
Chances are the new goal wont be met for this month, which will mean return to two updates a week for March. Chapters under that schedule would be coming out on Wednesday and Friday.
A while back in the comments it was pointed out to me that some people prefer PayPal to Patreon when making donations, and at long last thats been seen to. In the side menu, just under the Patreon tab, theres now one that links to PayPal as well. Feel free to send however much you like, anything is appreciated though I understand very well that its not everyone who can afford to contribute. (To clarify, PayPal donations will count towards the months donation goal.)
Regardless of all this, I want to take a moment to tell you all how happy I am that the Guide has ended up with the readership and online community it has. Its been a pleasure to write the books, so I hope theyve been a pleasure to read and that youll stick with me until the end of the series.
